May Day


May Day is a big holyday of the international labour movement. It is a rest-day in more than 80 countries and celebrated in many other countries unofficially. But it is forbidden in some countries.

There was a great festival and parade in the Soviet Union. Now the biggest celebration in North Korea, where it is known as International Workers' Day.
