Abraham and the Soul Consoling Tower

The Manzanar cemetery site is marked by a monument that was built by incarceree stonemason Ryozo Kado in 1943. An inscription in Japanese on the front of the monument reads, 慰靈塔 (Soul Consoling Tower).

The inscription on the back reads "Erected by the Manzanar Japanese" on the left, and "August 1943" on the right.

Lucky Plaza is a private housing estate in Sha Tin Town Centre, Sha Tin District, New Territories, Hong Kong.

Isle of Popov

Isle of Popov aka Popov Island is an island in Eugénie de Montijo Archipelago.

It is located in Peter the Great Gulf of the Sea of Japan, 20 km to the south of Zolotoy Rog between Isle of Reyneke and Russky Islands.

It is named after Russian admiral Andrey Popov who commanded ships during the Crimean War. There are two settlements, Stark and Popova, and few bases for tourists on the island. Administratively the island is part of Vladivostok like all islands of this archipelago.

Awesome Block Island

Block Island is a small part of the smallest state of the US.

But... You have to visit it.

Block Island is located about 20 km south of the Rhode Island's mainland. It is separated by by Block Island Sound, eastward extension of Long Island Sound, from the Rhode Island and Long Island. About 40 % of the island territory is set aside for conservation.

The Island is one of the nicest places of New England... For example, Block Island Bluffs.

Or Great Salt Pond in a centre. This lagoon separated North Block from South part.

This body of water has a small channel on its north-west shore connecting it with the Ocean and is good asylum from storms.

Bihar disaster

On June 6, 1981 a passenger train carrying more than 1000 passengers derailed and plunged into the river Bagmati near Saharsa, Bihar while it was crossing a bridge.

Original reports estimated that 800 people were aboard the train, but two Indian officials quoted by The Press Trust of India said that the toll could pass 1,000 and might reach 3,000.

The accident is among the deadliest-ever rail accident on record.
