The most beautiful parks

City, town, ville, город, ciudad, urban...

New York At Night

Where is a nature? It is in national parks and other reserves. There are many parks, reserves and Wildlife sanctuaries in the World.

What national park is the best in the United States? I don't know. Probably no one knows.

However see below...

Zion National Park is located near Springdale. It is Utah's First National Park. The highest point is 2,660 m (Horse Ranch Mountain) and the lowest elevation is 1,117 m at Coalpits Wash. Its area is 146,597 acres. The nicest places (IMHO) are the Towers of the Virgin and Zion Canyon.
Zion Canyon

Arches National Park is in Grand County, Eastern Utah. An area is 76,679 acres. It is known for over 2000 natural sandstone arches, including the world-famous Delicate Arch. Other interesting place is the Balanced Rock. You must see it like more than one million visitors.

Glacier National Park is located on borders the US and Canada. Northern Montana, Southern Alberta and British Columbia are nice. The World Heritage Site cannot be a bad place. 1.9 millions tourist in year agree with it.
Northern Montana

Olympic National Park is located in the Olympic Peninsula. It is International Biosphere Reserve and World Heritage Site. Of course, temperate rainforests are rare in the World. This park is the wettest area in the Contiguous United States. Mild winters and cold wet summers make the forests very green all year round.
Magnificent Olympic rainforest

Death Valley National Park is the lowest point in North America (86 m below sea level). It is located in Nevada and California east of the Sierra Nevada, only 136.2 km southeast of Mount Whitney, the highest point (4,420) of the continental United States. The most wonderful place is the Racetrack, where stones sail. It is a geological phenomenon... Also Death Valley is the hottest and driest place in North America.

Yellowstone National Park is one the symbols of the US in the World and the first national park. It is located in Wyoming, Montana and Idaho. The park is located at the headwaters of the Yellowstone River. The Yellowstone Caldera is the largest volcanic system in North America. It is a supersupervolcano. I don't wish its eruption. Except for Yellowstone Caldera you may see many waterfalls, rivers, canyons, and geysers. And the richest biodiversity.
Grand Prismatic Spring

Denali National Park contains Mount McKinley, the highest mountain in North America, and its surrounding area. There are tundra, forest-tundra and taiga. Alaska in an exellent! Denali's area is over 6 million acres. The area is more than area of each of the nine smallest states! It is the wildest area in the United Stated. Be careful! Very short summer, very long severe winter, and bears, bears, bears.
Autumn landscape of Denali

Here only seven of 59 US' national parks. What park of them is the best? Or Grand Canyon? Or Hawaii Volcanoes? Or maybe the smallest US national park Hot Springs?
